In our study, the effects of superstition about deciduous (milk) teeth are observed and analyzed through the people living it Samsun and its villages. It is observed that after pulling out those deciduous teeth are mostly thrown in the garbage or they are thrown over the roof of the house. Additionally, it is determined that such superstitious functions are carried out in order to send best wishes for future. As a result, it can be said that the traditional practices about Such belief's coming front out ancestors are conveyed from one generation to another by adults so their validity is still kept.en_US
