2,6-diaminopyridinium hydrogen fumarate

Abstract

The title compound, C5H8N3+ center dot C4H3O4-, contains edge-fused [R-2(1)(6)R-2(2)(8)R-2(2)(8)R-6(5)(26)R-2(1)(6)] motifs involving 2,6- diaminopyridinium and hydrogen fumarate ions. In these motifs, 2,6diaminopyridinium and hydrogen fumarate ions are connected by N - H center dot center dot center dot N, N - H center dot center dot center dot O and O - H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds.
