dc.description.abstract | In this study, N-(3,4-dimethylphenyl)aminoglyoxime (DMPGH(2)), N-(3,4-dichlorophenyl)aminoglyoxime (DCPGH(2)), N,N'-bis(3,4-dimethylphenyl)diaminoglyoxime (BDMPGH(2)) and N,N'-bis(3,4-dichorophenyl)diaminoglyoxime (BDCPGH(2)) have been synthesised from anti-chloroglyoxime or anti-dichloroglyoxime and the corresponding substituted aromatic amines in ethanol. Their complexes with Ni(II), Cu(II) and Co(II) have been obtained. Structures of the ligands and complexes are proposed based on IS H-1 NMR spectra, magnetic measurements and elemental analyses. The Ni(II), Cu(II) complexes are square-planar while the Co(II) complexes are octahedral. | en_US |
