dc.description.abstractThe elastic distortion induced by circular dislocation loop was obtained in terms of anisotropic elasticity by using the numerical methods. For both isotropic and anisotropic cases, the elastic distortions were calculated depending on the shape of the dislocation loops. The expression was specialized for the case of transversely isotropic as well as fully isotropic materials. It is found that for both isotropic and anisotropic cases, the variations of elastic distortions are the same as in the x-y plane in which the transverse isotropic exists. But elastic distortions are different in the z-direction. The elastic distortions depend on the anisotropic properties and shape of the dislocations loops.en_US
