Pulmonary hypoplasia associated with ventricular inversion
Özet
Pulmonary hypoplasia is a very rare disease of congenital lung anomalies. An 8-month-old girl was admitted to the pediatric infectious diseases department with complaints of cough, dyspnea, and wheeze, The diagnosis was made using chest X-ray, magnetic resonance angiography, cardiac catheterization, and echocardiography, Supportive measures including inhaled ?2 agonist, supplemental oxygen, and antibiotic therapy were administered, The patient recovered with conservative treatment and was discharged on the 20th day of hospitalization. We present an unusual child patient with pulmonary hypoplasia associated with ventricular inversion. Such an association in childhood has not been reported so far.
