A simulation model of a three-phase, three-limb, core type power transformers was studied. The behavior of the two-winding transformer model during switching in and fault transients was analyzed. The leakage inductors and magnetizing inductor were also analyzed and assumed as state variables. The whole system was controllable and observable during magnetizing inrush.en_US
