Early ventilatory management at emergency department of a patient with severe Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS)
Özet
Despite advances in supportive intensive care and mechanical ventilation strategies, the mortality rate of ARDS has remained significant, usually more than 50% especially in sepsis. Early diagnosis and initiating preventive ventilatory support immediately may effect the prognosis and decrease the mortality rate. We want to point the importance of early ventilatory support and the role of the doctors who study at Emergency Department in management of ARDS.
