Adrenal hemorrhage has many etiologies including bleeding diathesis. Two patients admitted to our clinic with complaints of abdominal distention. Hemorrhage was determined in the right adrenal glands of both patients with abdominal USG and then abdominal CT. The initial long values of PT and PTT were corrected by vitamin K administration and the diameters of both hemorrhagic cysts gradually reduced in the follow-up with abdominal USG. We suggest that adrenal hemorrhage in newborns may present with abdominal distention and abdominal USG and CT, PT and PTT should be confirmatory investigations in early diagnosis. Following vitamin K treatment the outcome of hemorrhagic cysts should be evaluated by abdominal USG.en_US
