In lipectomy operations with syringes, special cannula systems and special and different syringes which comply with those cannula systems are used. The cost of those special syringes, which are made of plastic, is rather higher than that of standard syringes as they can only be used few times. The cannula adaptor that we have developed, which acquires the use of standard plastic syringes, consist of two pieces. The first piece is the nut for connecting the plastic syringe and the second piece is the system that is used to connect the cannula to the first piece. As the plastic syringe connection nut is a grooved conical system, it can be connected to plastic syringes of all kind and volume. Cannula of all kinds of thickness can also be easily fixed to the socket. The cannula adaptor that we have developed is practical for lipectomy operations and reduces operation costs.en_US
