Hydatic cyst can involve mostly in the liver and lung, and rarely in other organs. However, subcutaneous tissue involvement is very rare. Three-year-old girl admitted with the complaint of a swelling on the inferolateral margin of the left scapula. Radiological studies showed a hydatid cyst located on the thoracal wall; on the inferolateral margin of the left scapula along with bilateral lung cysts. Primarily, subcutaneous hydatid cyst is excised completely with it's fibrous capsule and then partial cystectomy and capitonage is performed for one cyst in the left lung through a left posterolateral thoracotomy. She is on follow up with a plan of intervention to the cysts of the right lung. This case of the subcutaneous hydatid cyst was discussed according to the literature.en_US
