dc.description.abstractFor determining standard body measurements of term babies, we measured birth weight, and head circumference of 1488 female and 1626 male, total 3114 infants who borned in Samsun Maternity Hospital. Mean birthweight, height, head and chest circumference were 3348 ± 484 gram (1300-5050), 5O.1 ± 1.7 cm (401-56.4), 34.5 ± 1.2 cm (27.2-39.3), 33.5 ± 1.5 (23.0-39.7) in female; and 3441 ± 499 gram (1830-5500), 50.5 ± 1.7 cm (42.1-57.4), 35.0 ± 1.3 cm (26.7-39.4), 33.8 ± 1.5 (26.9-39.7) in male, retrospectively.en_US
