Görsel sanatlar öğretiminde yeni yaklaşımlar: Açık havada eğitim

Abstract

Görsel sanatlar öğretiminde yeni yaklaşımlar çerçevesinde ele alınan bu araştırmada Açık Havada Eğitim (AHE)modeli nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden betimsel analiz yöntemi kullanılarak çalışılmıştır. Açık Havada Eğitim Etkinliklerinde (AHEE); açık alanların programlanmış bir eğitim dizgesinde kullanımı ile bireyin bilişsel, duyuşsal ve edimsel düzeyini yükseltilmesi amaçlanmaktadır. AHEE ile yapılandırılmış bir Görsel Sanatlar Dersi’nde öğrencilerin; aktif liderlik, takım çalışması, akran ilişkileri, çevresel farkındalık gibi özellikleri geliştirmeye teşvik edilebileceği öngörülmektedir. Açık havada eğitim etkinliği, tematik olması ve farklı konu alanlarının kesiştirebilmesi sayesinde hemen hemen her alan için kullanılabilirdir. Sınıfın dışında, doğal ortamlarda gerçekleştirilen AHEE birçok disiplinde olduğu gibi sanat eğitimi için de farklı bir alternatif bir model oluşturabileceği düşünülmektedir. Sanat eğitimi duyuların duygularla iletişimi aracığıyla ortaya çıkan yaratıcı ifade gücünü besler niteliktedir. Bu bağlamda öğrenciler ancak yaparak, yaşayarak öğrenme paradigması doğrultusunda duyular yardımıyla aktif bir şekilde aldıkları bilgiyi yapılandırır ve bütünleştirebilirler. AHE yaklaşımı rastlantısal deneyimlere açık bir öğrenme ve öğretme süreci içermektedir. Bu durumda AHEE’nin Görsel Sanatlar Dersi için sunacağı rastlantısal deneyimlerin, öğrenme sürecine yansıması olumlu ve olumsuz yönleriyle tartışılması faydalı olacağı öngörülmektedir.

This study in which handled within the framework of new approaches in visual arts education, the outdoor training (OT) model was studied by using the descriptive analysis method, one of the qualitative research methods. In Outdoor Education Activities (OTA); It is aimed to increase the cognitive, affective and operant level of the individual with the use of open spaces in a programmed educational system. In a Visual Arts Class structured with OTA, students; It is predicted that it can be encouraged to develop characteristics such as active leadership, teamwork, peer relations, environmental awareness. The outdoor training activity can be used for almost any area thanks to its thematic nature and the ability to cross different subject areas. It is thought that OTA, which is performed outside the classroom, in natural environments, can create a different alternative model for art education as in many disciplines. Art education fosters the creative expression power that emerges through the communication of the senses with emotions. A, students can only structure and integrate the information they actively receive with the help of their senses in line with the paradigm of learning by doing and experiencing. OTA approach includes a learning and teaching process open to random experiences. In this case, it is predicted that it will be beneficial to discuss the reflection of the random experiences that OTA will provide for the Visual Arts Lesson with the positive and negative aspects of the learning process.
