Lise öğrencilerinin siyasal toplumsallaşma süreçlerinin analizi Samsun örneği

Abstract

Gençlerin, yaşadıkları hayatın nesnesi değil öznesi olabilmeleri için kendi hayatlarını yönlendirecek kararlarda söz sahibi olabilmeleri gerekmektedir. Bu durum gençliğin toplumun tüm kesimlerinde karar alma süreçlerine tercihen konvansiyonel ya da konvansiyonel olmayan yollarla siyasal ve sosyal anlamda aktif bir biçimde katılımı ile mümkündür. Siyasal ve sosyal süreçlere aktif bir biçimde katılan gençlik hem kendi geleceğini istediği bir biçimde şekillendirecek hemde yaşadığı toplumda kendisini güven içinde hissedecektir. Araştırmada bu öncüllerden hareketle lise gençlerinin siyaset alanında gösterdikleri katılım ve siyasal toplumsallaşmada etkili olan faktörler incelenmiştir. Siyasete ilgi duyan ve duymayan lise düzeyindeki gençlerin siyasi katılıma ilişkin algılarını, yaşadıkları ülkenin siyasetle ilgili olay ve olgularına dair fikirlerini öğrenmek amaçlanmıştır. Çalşımanın amacı lise gençlerinin siyasete katılım ile ilgili düşüncelerini ve bu düşüncelerinde etkisi olan unsurları belirlemektir. Araştırma ulaşılabilir örneklem yoluyla Samsun ili Atakum ilçesinde yaşayan 150 lise öğrencisi ile yapılmıştır. Nicel olarak desenlenen araştırmada verileri elde etmek için araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan 'Anket Soruları' kullanılmıştır. Anket soruları katılımcıların ve ebeveynlerinin siyasal toplumsallaşma süreçlerini etkileyen faktörler hakkındadır. Anket sorularına verilen cevaplardan elde edilen veriler analiz edilip yorumlanmıştır. Araştırma dört bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde araştırmanın konusu, problemi, amacı, önemi, varsayımları, sınırlılıkları, yöntemi, evreni ve örneklemi, verilerinin toplanması ve analizi hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde araştırmanın kavramsal ve kuramsal çerçevesi üzerinde durularak siyaset, siyasal kültür, toplumsallaşma, siyasal katılım ve siyasal katılıma etki eden faktörler ele alınmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde genel olarak lise düzeyindeki gençlerin problemlerine özel olarak Türkiye'de yaşanan gençlik sorunlarına değinilmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde lise öğrencilerinin siyaset ile olan ilişkilerine ve sosyalleşme süreçlerine etki eden faktörlerin ne olduğunun araştırması yapılmıştır. Beşinci bölümde araştırmadan elde edilen bulgulara yer verilmiş ve değerlendirilmesi yapılmıştır. Sonuç bölümünde araştırmadan elde edilen bulgular doğrultusunda saptamalar yapılmış ve öneriler sunulmuştur.

Young people need to have a say in the decisions that will shape their own lives in order to be the subject, not the object of the life they live.This is possible with the active participation of youth in decision-making processes in all segments of society, preferably politically and socially through conventional and non-conventional means. Youth who actively participate in political and social processes will both shape their own future in a way that they want and feel confident in the society in which they live. Based on these precursors, factors affecting the participation of high school youth in the field of politics and political socialization were examined. It is aimed to learn the perceptions of high school youth who are interested in politics or not, and their thoughts on the events and phenomena of the country they live in. The aim of the study is to determine the thoughts of high school youth about participation in politics and the factors that affect these thoughts. The research was conducted with 150 high school students living in Atakum, Samsun.In the study, which was designed quantitatively, "Survey Questions" prepared by the researcher were used to obtain the data.The survey questions are about the factors affecting the political socialization processes of the participants and their parents.The data obtained from the answers given to the survey questions were analyzed and interpreted. The research consists of four parts.In the first part, information is given about the subject, problem, purpose, importance, assumptions, limitations, method, universe and sample of the research, collection and analysis of data.In the second part, focusing on the conceptual and theoretical framework of the research, politics, political culture, socialization, political participation and the factors affecting political participation are discussed. In the third chapter, the problems of the youth at the high school level in general and the youth problems in Turkey in particular are mentioned. In the fourth chapter, the factors affecting the relations of high school students with politics and their socialization processes were investigated. In the fifth chapter, the findings obtained from the research are included and evaluated. In the conclusion part, determinations were made in line with the findings obtained from the research and suggestions were presented.
