1980'lerden günümüze Türkiye'de kadın hareketi ve politikalarının siyasal ve toplumsal yansımaları ve dönüşümü

Abstract

Bir toplumda sosyal değişmelerin gözlemlendiği en önemli süreçlerden birisi sosyal hareketlerdir. Bireyler, kültür temelli unsurların etkisiyle belli bir sosyal konumdan ya da statüden başka birine geçebilirler. Sosyal mobiliteyi beraberinde getiren bu kolektif davranış biçiminin sosyal dengesizlik, huzursuzluk, çözülme, hoşgörüsüzlük ve kimi yoksunluklar gibi pek çok sebebi vardır. Toplumsal değişimi hızlandırabilen, engelleyebilen hatta tersine çevirebilen sosyal hareketler içerisinde kadın hareketleri oldukça önemlidir. Kadın hareketleri kamusal alandan dışlanmışlığa karşı gelişen, eşit paylaşım ve eşit katılım talebiyle toplumsal bir hareket olarak tarihte yerini almıştır ve toplumsal yaşamda eşitliğin, cinsiyet eşitliği ile mümkün kılınacağını öncüllemiştir. Kadın hareketleri, toplumsal eşitsizliğin ortadan kalkması için cinsiyet eşitsizliğinin çözümüne vurgu yaparak 20. yüzyılın ilk yarısında görünür olmaya başlamıştır. Konjonktüre bağlı olarak farklı dönemlerde Türkiye'de siyasal, toplumsal, ekonomik faktörler ile değişmiş, dönüşmüş ve/veya yön değiştirerek şekillenmiştir. 1980'li yıllarda liberal akımın, 1990'lı yıllarda dini ve etnik kimlik siyasetinin etkileri görülmüş; 2000'li yıllarda ise tüm çeşitlenmelerin daha görünür olduğu nispeten parçalı yapılarda kadın örgütlenmeleri ve buna bağlı olarak kadın hareketleri görülmüştür. Bu bağlamda bu tezde 1980'lerden günümüze kadın hareketi ve politikalarının siyasal ve toplumsal yansımaları betimsel bir analizle incelenecektir. Çalışmanın öncelikli amacı mevcut bilgiye yenilikler katmak ve bir teori bulmaktır. Bu kapsamda araştırmamızda 1980 yılını referans alarak bu tarihten 2020'li yıllara kadarki süreçte toplum ve birey yaşamında etkili olan sosyolojik, siyasal, etik, ahlaki ve dini etkilerin ortaya koyduğu veya şekillendirdiği sosyolojik hareketin yansımalarını bulgulamayı amaçladık. Araştırma yönteminin bir diğer yönü daha önceden işlenmiş bilgileri farklı bileşenlerle yeniden üreterek problemin daha iyi ortaya konulmasını sağlama amaçlıdır. Bu tezde kadın hareketinin görünmeyen, bilinmeyen ve söylenmeyen yüzünün ortaya çıkartılması ve birey ve toplum yaşamında derinlikli etki ve anlamlarının belirlenmesi önemlidir. Bu nedenle 1980'li yıllardan günümüze Türkiye'deki kadın hareketlerinin kapsamlı ve dönemsel verilerini çözümlemek ve bunların dinamiklerine, sistematiğine, dönüşümüne, kurumsallaşmasına ve ezber bilgilerin değiştirilmesine katkı sağlayabilecek noktalarını açığa çıkarmak amaçlanmaktadır.

One of the most important processes in which social changes are observed in a society is social movements. Individuals can move from a certain social position or status to another one under the influence of cultural-based elements. This collective behavior that brings social mobility together has many reasons such as social imbalance, uneasiness, dissolution, intolerance and some deprivations. Women's movements are very important in social movements that can accelerate, prevent or even reverse social change. Women's movements have taken their place in history as a social movement that develops against exclusion from the public sphere, demanding equal sharing and equal participation, and have pioneered that equality in public life will be made possible by gender equality. Women's movements began to be visible in the first half of the 20th century, emphasizing the solution of gender inequality in order to eliminate social inequality. Depending on the conjuncture, in different periods, political, social and economic factors have changed, transformed and/or changed direction in Turkey. The effects of the liberal movement in the 1980s and the politics of religious and ethnic identity in the 1990s were observed, and in the 2000s, women's organizations and related women's movements were observed in relatively fragmented structures where all variations were more visible. In this context, in this thesis, the political and social reflections of women's movement and politics from the 1980s to the present will be examined in a descriptive analysis. The primary purpose of the study is to add innovations to existing knowledge and to find a theory. In this context, we aim to find the reflections of the sociological movement revealed or shaped by the sociological, political, ethical, moral and religious influences that were effective in society and individual life from this date to the 2020s by referencing the year 1980 in our research. Another aspect of the research method is to reproduce previously processed information with different components to better identify the problem. In this thesis, it is important to reveal the unseen, unknown and unspoken face of the women's movement and to determine its profound impact and meaning in individual and public life. Therefore, It is aimed to analyze the comprehensive and periodic data of women's movements in Turkey from the 1980s to the present and to reveal the points that can contribute to their dynamics, systematics, transformation, institutionalization and change of memorization information.
