The title compound, C13H16N2O2, consists of a planar benzoxazolone ring system and a piperidine ring. Crystals of the title compound are twinned and the structure could be solved with satisfactory results. It crsytallizes in the triclinic P1 space group. The unit-cell parameters at 293 K are a = 6.608(5), b = 9.092(5), c = 11.075(5)Å, ? = 105.714(5)°, ? = 98.929(5)°, ? = 106.017(5)°, V = 596.3(6)Å3, Dx = 1.294 g/cm3, Z = 2. In the crystal structure, there are intermolecular C-H·O hydrogen contacts. 2005 © The Japan Society for Analytical Chemistry.en_US
