Head and neck dermoid cysts comprise less than 10% of all dermoid cysts. Sublingual location is very rare. Sublingual cysts are slow-growing lesions generally seen in the second and third decades of life. We report here a case of a 39-year-old male with a dermoid cyst on the floor of the mouth. The literature is reviewed and the characteristics of this lesion are discussed.en_US
