In this article, I have explored the difficulties of Muslims in understanding Paul's Missionary Strategy in the light of 1 Corinthians 9:19-23. Since the approach to missionary work that Paul sets out in this passage was also followed by later missionaries who were following Paul's own model, an understanding of this passage will at the same time help us to understand the overall perception of Christian mission. In this context, I have considered some interpretations of this passage made by New Testament scholars and presented my own interpretations on certain points. Finally, I have evaluated the mission strategy of Paul within the context of understanding of Islamic dáwah. © New Testament Society of South Africa.en_US
