Together with developments in techniques of scoliosis surgery, there have been significant developments in anaesthesia and analgesia techniques for this surgery. These are primarily due to the application of short-term infusions of intravenous anaesthetics without using neuromuscular blockers. These, in conjunction with neuromonitorisation, aids the determination of early surgical complications. Therefore, a collection is presented here related to this subject in the light of contemporary information and applications. © 2013 by Turkish Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Society.en_US
