Tarımsal sanayinin geliştirilmesinde kooperatifleşme: Tonya örneği

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Tonya-Koop'un Tonya ilçesinde (Trabzon) tarımsal sanayinin gelişmesine ve piyasaya yaptığı katkılar ortaya konulmuştur. Araştırma ile ilgili temel veriler, kooperatifin muhasebe kayıtlarından elde edilmiştir. Yapılan inceleme sonucunda, bölgede geliştirilebilecek yegane tarıma dayalı sanayi dalının süt sığırcılığı olduğu, üreticilerin kooperatifleşerek işletmeye açtıkları süt fabrikası sayesinde, yakın çevredeki özel teşebbüslerin süt işleme fabrikaları kurmalarına öncülük ettiği, dolayısıyla ilgili sanayi ürünlerine önemli miktarlarda talep yaratıldığı, üreticilerin işgücünden tasarruf sağladığı, bölgede doğrudan veya. dolaylı olarak 50 kişiye istihdam sağlandığı, ortaklarına süt alım ve fiyat garantisi verdiği, ortakların ürününü tereyağı, kaşar peyniri, beyaz peynir ve lora işleyip daha yüksek fiyattan pazarlamak suretiyle katma değer oluşturduğu, ortaklarına uygun şartlarla yem, kepek ve un temin ettiği, süt ve girdi piyasasında rekabet ortamı yarattığı ve üyeler arasındaki dayanışmayı artırdığı belirlenmiştir.

The contributions of Tonya-Koop to improve agricultural industry in Tonya district were presented in this research. The results of the research showed that dairy was the only business to develop in order to establish agricultural industry in the region, The main data of the research were collected from the records of the accountancy office of Tonya-Koop. The milk-processing factory, which was established by the cooperative, initiated to other private enterprises in the region. So, this cooperative created a considerable amount of demand for related industrial products, which were used for processing, and marketing of milk. Tonya-Koop employed 50 people directly in the factory and indirectly from outside; provided market and price guarantee to its members; processed its member's products (milk) into butter, white cheese and lor. So, it created added value as a result of processing and marketing these products. The cooperative also supplied concentrate feed, bran and flour in convenient terms (low price and credit) to its members. The competitive power of the cooperative towards private traders resulted in regulating (or decreasing) the price in the dairy products and input markets. Another important function of the cooperative was that the cooperation among its members was increased.
