dc.description.abstract | This paper deals with the phenomenology of religion, particularly within the context of the views of the Canadian historian of religion and Islamist, Wilfred Cantwell Smith. In this way, some visible parameters concerning the phenomenology of religion as a discipline that aims to study and under stand religions as they reflect in the lives of their followers and Smith‘s contributions to the phe nomenological method will be highlighted, but with no reference being made to the question of how the phenomenological method has emerged and to the theories that have been developed on it. | en_US |
