Anadolu Güzel Sanatlar Liseleri ve Bu Liselerden Mezun Olmuş Müzik Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı 1. ve 4. Sınıf Öğrencileri Üzerine Bir İnceleme

Abstract

Arastırmanın amacı, Anadolu Güzel Sanatlar Liselerinden mezun olmus Müzik Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı 1. ve 4. sınıf öğrencilerinin nasıl bir profil olusturduğunu ortaya koymaktır. Arastırmanın çalısma evrenini, 2006-2007 öğretim yılında 21 Müzik Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı’nda öğrenim gören, Anadolu Güzel Sanatlar Liseleri’nden mezun olmus 437 I. sınıf ve 243 IV. sınıf öğrencisi olusturmaktadır. Arastırmada veriler arastırmacı tarafından hazırlanan anket yoluyla toplanmıstır. Öğrenci profilini belirlemeye yönelik sorulara verilen cevaplardan elde edilen verilerin frekans (f) ve yüzde (%) dağılımlarına bakılarak veriler yorumlanmıstır. Arastırma sonuçları, öğrencilerin ezici çoğunluğunu kızların olusturduğunu, öğrencilerin annelerinin eğitiminin, babalarının eğitimine oranla daha düsük olduğunu, öğrencilerin müzik öğretmenliği mesleğini seçmedeki öncelik nedenlerinin müzik öğretmeninin etkisi, motivasyonu yüksek bir meslek olması ve akademik gelisime fırsat sunuyor olması, diğer etkenlerin ise nispeten ikinci planda yer aldığını, öğrencilerin müzik alan bilgisi derslerini, öğretmenlik meslek bilgisi derslerine oranla daha önemli gördüklerini ortaya koymaktadır. Sınıfsal düzeyde anlamlı bir farklılık ortaya çıkmamıstır.

The purpose of this study is to bring out the profile of Anatolian Fine Arts High School graduates who are freshmen and senior students in the Musical Education programme. The study consists of 437 freshmen and 243 senior students who graduted from an Anoltolian Fine Arts High School and were educated in 21 musical education programmes during 2006-2007 academic year. In this survey, a questionnaire prepared by the researcher has been used to gather data. The data have been evaluated by frequency and the percent dispersion of the replies to the questions which aim to understand the profiles of the students. The results ot this survey have shown that most of the students are girls; mothers of the students are less educated than their fathers; music teachers have a primary effect on students‘ choosing a career in music education; the job is highly motivating and gives the opportunity of further academic career. The other effects seem to be secondary, since the students think that departmental courses are more important than pedagogical courses. A significant difference between the replies of the freshmen and senior students has not been found out.
