Abstract

In the title compound, [ZnBr2(C6H7N)(2)], the Zn atom (site symmetry 2) adopts a distorted tetrahedral ZnN2Br2 geometry. In the crystal, molecules are linked by N-H center dot center dot center dot Br hydrogen bonds, generating sheets containing R-2(2) (8) loops.
