The effect of dexamethasone on neutrophil adherence in umbilical cord blood

Abstract

Neutrophil adherence immediately after delivery and after incubation with saline and with two different concentrations of dexamethasone was studied in umbilical cord blood of 27 full-term neonates. Dexamethasone was not found to have any significant effect on neutrophil adherence in vitro. © 1987.
