Çarşamba Ovasından selekte edilen bazı can erik (Prunus cerasifera Ehrh.) tiplerinin şeftali ve eriklere anaç olarak kullanılabilirliklerinin saptanması üzerinde araştırmalar

Abstract

Bu araştırma 1994-1998 yıllarında Çarşamba Ovasında yapılmıştır. Araştırmada, Çarşamba Ovasından selekte edilen bazı can erik tiplerinin fidanlık koşullarında anaç özelliğinin belirlenmesi ve bunların bazı şeftali ve erik çeşitleriyle aşı uyuşma durumlarının saptanması amaçlanmıştır. Denemelerde standart anaç olarak Marianna GF 8-1 (P.cerasifera x P.munsoniana) ile Redhaven ve Glohaven şeftali ve Stanley erik çeşitleri kullanılmıştır, Fidanlık koşullarında anaç özelliğinin belirlenmesi için yapılan çalışmalarda Ç 6-2, Ç 7-3, Ç 8-6 ve Ç 16-2'nin çok iyi; Ç 3-1, Ç 4-1, Ç 8-1, Ç 9-2 ve Ç 10-1 tiplerinin iyi anaç özelliği gösterdiği; aşı uyuşma durumlarının belirlenmesi için yapılan çalışmalarda ise ele alman kriterler bakımından Redhaven/Ç 16-2, Stanley/Ç 2-1, Redhaven/Ç 4-1, Redhaven/Ç 8-6, Stanley/Ç 4-1, Redhaven/Ç 8-5 ve Stanley/Ç 13-3 kombinasyonlarının çok iyi; Stanley/Ç 4-3, Redhaven/Ç 7-4, Stanley/Ç 8-1, Redhaven/Ç 8-4, Redhaven/Ç 9-3, Glohaven/Ç 13-3 ve Glohaven/Marianna GF 8-1 kombinasyonlarının iyi derecede uyuşma gösterdiği tespit edilmiştir.

This study was carried out in çarşamba Plain during 1994-1998. The objectives of the study to determine rootstocks characteristics of some selected types under nursery conditions and to determine the grafting compatibility of these rootstocks with some peach and plum cvs. Which are adapted to çarşamba Plain. Cvs. Redhaven and Glohaven (peach) and cv. Stanley (plum) and Marianna GF 8-1 as a standard rootstock were used in the study. Studies carried out in order to determine rooting ratio, shoot diameter, variation coefficient of shoot diameter, shoot length, variation coefficient of shoot length and suitability ratio for grafting showed that while ç 6-2, ç 7-3, ç 8-6, and ç 16-2 were found to be the most suitable, ç 3-1, ç 4-1, ç 8-1, ç 9-2 and ç 10-1 types were found to be suitable in terms of rootstocks characteristics. Studies on determining the graft compatibility of peach/plum and plum/plum combinations in terms of investigated characteristics (as scion/rootstock) showed that the combinations giving the most suitable graft compatibility were as follows; Redhaven/ç 16-2, Stanley/ç 2-1, Redhaven/ç 4-1, Redhaven/ç 8-6, Stanley/ç 4-1, Redhaven/ç 8-5 and Stanley/ç 13-3 while the suitable combinations were Stanley/ç 4-3, Redhaven/ç 7-4, Stanley/ç 8-1, Redhaven/ç 8-4, Redhaven/ç 9-3, Glohaven/ç 13-3 and Glohaven/Marianna GF 8-1.
