The same therapy with different outcomes: Examination of two cervical pregnancies

Abstract

Bu yazıda, başlangıçta transvaginal ultrasonografi yardımıyla tanı konulan ve sistemik tek doz metotreksat tedavisi uyguladığımız iki olguyu sunuyoruz. Bu olgulardandan bir tanesi tek doz metotreksat ile tedavi olurken diğer hastada tedavinin 19. gününde şiddetli hemoraji gelişti ve serviko-vajinal tampon yardımıyla durduruldu.

We present two cases of cervical pregnancy diagnosed by transvaginal ultrasonography. Initially, they were treated with systemic single dose methotrexate. One of the patients was treated successfully with only single dose methotrexate, however the other patient developed severe hemorrhage on the 19th day of the treatment, which was controlled by uterine cervico-vaginal tamponade together with uterine packing.
