Une Etude Stylistique sur le Roi se Meurt d'Eugene lonesco

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Uyumsuz (Absürd) Tiyatro'nun en ünlü yapıtlarından birisi olan Kral can çekişiyor adlı oyunda biçem boyutu incelenerek; dil, kişi, düş ve fantastik, trajik ve komik, ve yergi öğeleri irdelendi. Yeni romancılarda olduğu gibi, lonesco için de gerçeği yansıtmada dil en etkin araç konumundadır. Bunu yaparken söze, söz oyunlun ve jestler eşlik etmektedir. Kişiler klasik trajedilerdekinden çok farklı olup, sahnede fiziki görünümleri, karakterleri ve eylemleriyle değil, sözleri, duygulan ve devinimleriyle etkindirler. Söz konusu oyun, ölüm düşüncesinin bunalıma sürüklediği Kral'ın iç evrenini yansıtmaktadır. Yazar, bilinç ve bilinçaltı dünyasının sunusunda düşe, fantastik öğelere ve sembollere geniş biçimde yer vermektedir. lonesco'nun düş ve rüya yaklaşımı onu gerçeküstücü yazarlar arasına sokmaktadır. Oyunun sunusunda yazar fantastik ve gerçekçi metotları birlikte kullanmaktadır.Yine lonesco'nun bu oyununda trajik ve komik öğeler birbiriyle iç içe girmiş durumdadır. Bir diğer önemli nokta da bu yapıtta lonesco'nun yergiye geniş yer vermesidir. İki tür yergi söz konusu edilmektedir: varoluşla ilgili olan ve sosyal içerikli olan. Varoluşla ilgili yergide yazar ölüm ve yok oluş karşısında insanın durumunu irdelemekte, sosyal içerikli yergide ise Kral ve hizmetçi aracılığıyla toplumun iki sınıfı arasındaki f arka dikkat çekmektedir. Sonuç olarak, geleneksel tiyatroda zengin sahne dekorunun kullanımına bırakılan seyirci ve okuyucuyu etkileme işlevi, lonesco 'nün yapıtında dilin kullanımına verilmiştir.

In this study, The King Is Fading Away, one of most well-known plays of Absurd Theatre, has been studied in terms of style, and the elements of language, character, dream and fantasy, tragedy and comedy, and satire have been analysed. Language is an effective means of reflecting reality according to lonesco as the new novelists so. While doing so, language has been presented with many figures of speech such as puns and gestures. Characters are very different from the ones in traditional (classic) tragedies and the actors are very active by using language, feelings and action rather than their physical appearance and personality. The subject play reflects the interior world of the King who deeply distressed by the thought of death. While presenting his conscious and subconscious worlds, lonesco uses symbols, fantastic elements, and dream. lonesco can be considered to be a surrealist playwright due to his way of handling dream. He uses together fantasy world and realistic method in his work. In this play, tragic and comic elements have been interwoven. The author uses satire as well. Two types of satire are mentioned: existential satire and social satire, in existential satire, the author analyses the human in between death and non- existence whereas in social satire the social gap between classes illustrated by the King and his servant is highlighted. As a conclusion, in lonesco's work, the function of motivating and attracting the reader and audience's attention is largely based on the usage of language rather than delightful decoration of stage as in traditional theatre.
